Zhao Yuan

Public Sector Human Resource Development and Management International Civil Service System Talent Policy

Yuan Zhao is Associate Professor and Director of the International Relations Department at the School of International Organizations, Beijing Foreign Studies University. She received her Ph.D. in Public Administration from Peking University and was a visiting joint Ph.D. student at the Harvard Kennedy School. Her research focuses on public sector human resource management, the international civil service system, and talent development for international organizations. She has served as Consultant to the UN Economic and Social Council, member and Vice-Chair of the DEI Subgroup of the ITER Organization’s Management Advisory Committee, and expert reviewer for international organization programs of the China Scholarship Council.
