Armed Conflict and Humanitarian Assistance Refugee Governance Inter-Organizational Relations

Dr. Yue WANG is currently assistant professor at the School of International Organizations, Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU). She holds a Ph.D. in International Relations, jointly trained by Fudan University and the University of Geneva. She also serves as a Research Fellow at the Contemporary Internationalization Research Center in Hangzhou, and a member of the UNHCR Global Academic Interdisciplinary Network (GAIN).

Her research interests include armed conflict and humanitarian assistance, as well as inter-organizational relations. Since 2018, she has published academic papers on topics such as migrant identity, China’s diplomacy in international organizations, inter-organizational cooperation, humanitarian financing, and cooperation between the UN and regional organizations. Her recent research focuses on the financial dependency of humanitarian assistance and how enterprises protect civilian infrastructure during conflicts. She also has extensive experience in exchanges and cooperation with international organizations, maintaining long-term, in-depth dialogues with IOs such as the ICRC, the IFRC, IOM, UNHCR, World Bank, and ILO.
