French Diplomacy French-speaking countries and regions

Professor Li Hongfeng is Dean of the School of African Studies at Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU), a professor and doctoral supervisor, Vice President of the Chinese Society of Asian and African Studies, and Vice President of the China Society for African Studies. Her research focuses on French-speaking countries and regions. She has published monographs including Sino-French Relations Through Storms and Strains (1949–1980)(Les relations sino-françaises) and Cultural and Educational Studies in Senegal (Sénégal Culture et Education) , edited volumes including The Language Situations and Language Policies in African Countries and Guide to the World Nations: Chad, textbooks including Society and Culture of French-Speaking Countries and Regions (La Francophonie: sociétés et cultures) and translations including The Political Thought of Cheikh Anta Diop(La Pensée politique de Cheikh Anta Diop), Archaeological Study of the Megalithic Circles of Senegambia (Cercles à monolithes de Sénégambie), and The Deadlock of North-South CooperationNord-Sud: L’impossible coopération). She has published over 60 academic papers, led several provincial and ministerial research projects, and participated as a sub-project leader in two national-level projects. She has received awards including BFSU Young Distinguished Teacher, the Excellent Young Talent Program, Beijing Municipal High-Quality Undergraduate Course Materials, and Beijing Municipal High-Quality Undergraduate Course.
