Professor Hong Hui is a lecturer and master’s supervisor at Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU). He graduated from Beijing Foreign Studies University (then Beijing Foreign Studies Institute) in 1993 with a Master of Arts in French Language and Literature. He then taught at the University of International Business and Economics, during which he twice pursued further studies at Paris 2 Panthéon-Assas University and the French National School of Insurance. In 2012, he received a PhD in Economics from the Department of European Studies at the Graduate School of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. He joined the Department of French at BFSU as a faculty member in 2015. His teaching experience includes undergraduate core French courses, Audiovisual and Speaking courses, Translation Theory and Practice, Advanced interpretation, Business French, Economic French and French economic studies. His research focuses on the French economy and the European economy. His doctoral dissertation is titled A Study on the Social Market Economy Model of the European Union. He has published a number of academic papers, edited volumes, and translations.
