Wang Jihui

Translation Pedagogy Translation Theory

Professor Wang Jihui is an associate professor at Faculty of French and Francophone Studies at Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU). He holds a PhD from the École Supérieure d’Interprètes et de Traducteurs (ESIT) at Paris 3 Sorbonne Nouvelle University. His research focuses on Translation Pedagogy and Translation Theory. He joined Faculty of French and Francophone Studies as a faculty member in 2003. He has taught undergraduate courses including first-year intensive French, second-year intermediate listening, fourth-year French-to-Chinese translation, and MTI translation courses. From 2006 to 2016, he served as an editor and deputy editor-in-chief of the journal French Language Learning (Apprendre le Français).
