Faculty and Students from Our School Participate in the Forum on the Development of International Science and Technology Organizations and Global Science and Technology Governance at the 2026 ZGC Forum Annual Conference

On the morning of March 28, the "2026 ZGC Forum Annual Conference — Forum on the Development of International Science and Technology Organizations and Global Science and Technology Governance" was held at the Zhongguancun International Innovation Center in Beijing. The forum was hosted by the People's Government of Chaoyang District of Beijing Municipality, the People's Government of Haidian District of Beijing Municipality, the UNESCO Representative Office in China, the Beijing Municipal Science & Technology Commission (Administrative Commission of Zhongguancun Science Park), and the Beijing Association for Science and Technology. It was co-organized by our school, the Beijing International Science and Technology Cooperation Center, the Beijing Center for International Science and Technology Exchange, the Research Center for Technological Innovation at Tsinghua University, the Business School at the University of International Business and Economics, and the Beijing Chaoyang International Science and Technology Innovation Service Co., Ltd.

The forum, themed "Extensive Consultation, Joint Contribution, and Shared Benefits," focused on three major directions: innovation in the global science and technology governance system, the transformation of international science and technology organizations and China's role, and the synergy between science and technology and rules. It featured segments such as keynote speeches, outcome releases, signing and launching ceremonies, and academic seminars. The event aimed to build a high-level exchange and dialogue platform in the field of international science and technology organizations, injecting momentum into the gathering of international science and technology resources and the construction of Beijing as an international exchange center and a science and technology innovation center.

In the afternoon, a parallel seminar for the "Forum on the Development of International Science and Technology Organizations and Global Science and Technology Governance" was held in the Headquarters Cluster of International Science and Technology Organizations. The seminar featured in-depth discussions on topics such as the "Governance Architecture and Multiple Synergy of International Science and Technology Organizations," "Rule Construction and Global Practical Value of International Science and Technology Organizations," "Linked Development of Domestic and Global Science and Technology Organizations," and "Support Systems, Talent Cultivation, and Development Optimization for International Science and Technology Organizations." Multiple faculty members and students from our school participated in the speeches and discussions at the forum.
