Yao Yanxia

Professor Yao Yanxia is an associate professor at the Law School of Beijing Foreign Studies University (BFSU). She holds a Ph.D. in Law and is a graduate of Wuhan University. She was born in 1972 and is a member of the Jiu San Society.

She studied at Dalian University of Foreign Languages from 1989 to 1993, receiving her Bachelor of Arts in English Education. She then pursued graduate studies at Wuhan University School of Law, where she earned her Master of Laws in International Law (1997–1999) and her Doctor of Philosophy in International Law (2000–2003).
